Edward Jacobs is the visionary Founder and Chief Executive Officer of EpayEncrypt, a leader in secure electronic payment solutions. Blending deep technical expertise with strategic foresight, Edward has positioned EpayEncrypt at the forefront of cybersecurity innovation. His mission is clear: to protect today’s digital ecosystem while preparing for the quantum future.
For more than a decade, Edward has shaped the information security landscape through design, research, and implementation of advanced protection systems. His work unites enterprise-grade cryptography, identity management, and post-quantum readiness, ensuring that organizations remain resilient as technology evolves. He has led the successful migration of legacy on-premise systems to cloud-native architectures, focusing on cryptographic agility, data integrity, and business continuity.
At the forefront of post-quantum cryptography, Edward leads efforts to make EpayEncrypt’s solutions quantum-safe. His vision begins with identifying and mapping cryptographic inventories against quantum vulnerabilities. This is the first step toward future-proofing infrastructure. EpayEncrypt continues to strengthen this foundation by addressing potential challenges that may arise during the transition to quantum-era security. This proactive approach ensures that systems evolve seamlessly from current encryption standards to quantum-resilient frameworks, protecting clients against the next generation of cyber threats.
Edward’s career is marked by precision, compliance, and innovation. His work aligns with major industry standards including NIST, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and PCI TSP, ensuring that every solution exceeds both regulatory and performance expectations. His expertise spans security engineering, cryptography, digital signatures, hardware security modules, and public key infrastructure.
He holds a Master of Science in Cyber Security from Grand Canyon University, graduating with a perfect CGPA of 4.0. His professional certifications include Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Certified Information Security Manager, Certified Cloud Security Professional, and Certified Identity and Access Manager, Credential ID 10036. He also holds the ITIL Foundation in IT Service Management, with ITIL version four certification in progress. Additional technical credentials include Thales and nCipher HSM Engineer Certificates, Cryptography I from Coursera, and the Visa Business School Certificate from the United Kingdom.
